Pushrod length calculator inside!
Repeat this for your new cam's intake and exhaust lobes in the labelled cells.
Finally, if you milled your heads put in how much they were milled, i.e. 0.010 milled.
This will spit out the length of the pushrods required for your new cam and/or heads set-up. Thanks to Allcammedup for getting me straight on the math <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Enjoy!
This assumes stock spring installed height for an LS1. The stock pushrod size is base on an LS1 stock pushrod.

Oh BTW, I think someone who has access to a set of calipers should go measure a stock pushrod and see if it is actually 7.400 inches.
I'm over in Korea right now, so, no help from me.

Where the hell did this 7.40" number come from anywhere? We have allways been told the stock GM rod length is 7.40" by all the rod manufactures and sellers.
Now, I wonder if the aftermarket hardened 7.40" rods everyone advertises as stock length are really 7.40" or actually shorter!
Jeese... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

The reason I said this is because NastyC5 measured one to be 7.375"
Thats .025" (25 thousands shorter than 7.40)(alot)
Steve, your 7.395" measurment is close (5 thousands)
