List all the cams you have tried...
List 'em in sequence!!!!
346ci
GTP/custom 232/232/116 (early design)
Westech/Comp 222/224//113 (I cloned the P2; smooth
Westech/Comp 236/240//111 (experimental, needed a lot of PtoV)
Westech/Comp 228/228//111 (great cam, split lift)
422ci
ARE/Lunati 244/244//114 (Not a very sick lope)
ARE/Comp 242/242//112 (very lopey, and lifters are much louder, idles at 1050)
If I were do to it again, I would find a good sheetmetal intake and do a 250/260//110 hydraulic but I bet it would idle really crappy.

T1---->221/221 .558/.558 lsa 112
226--->226/226 .584/.584 lsa 112
232--->232/226 .595/.584 lsa 110
F4---->226/226 .575..575 lsa 114
All the above cams are streetable. The T1 and 226 XE-R was almost identical in horsepower, but the faster ramps of the XE-R made the 226 a better cam.. The F4 cam from Futral Motorsports is awesome.. Idles great and the midrange is great.. This is a real street cam.. Thanks

224/224 .561/.561 114lsa
221/221 .559/.559 114lsa
227/224 .565/.561 114lsa
I like the latest one the most. Most power, no drivability issues, nearly like stock idle. I think I've finally found my favorite cam!
Old motor:
GTP 232/232 .568/.568 116lsa (same as PSJ's)

GTP 226/226 .591/.591 112lsa (my favorite)
Current motor (382cid):
CompCams 254/260 .660/.667 ???lsa mech. roller
1) '99 stock cam
2) MTI/Lunati B1 - 221/221 .558/.558 114lsa
3) Thunder Racing 230/230 .612/.612 112lsa solid roller
4) '99 stock cam again
5) Thunder Racing 224/224 .565/.565 114lsa
6) Thunder Racing 227/224 .565/.565 114lsa
7) Thunder Racing 230/224 .569/.565 111lsa
8) Thunder Racing 239/236 .592/.592 111lsa hydraulic roller ****coming real soon****
ARE 226/234-.554/.575-112: Idles @ 850rpm but surges bad at times. Made the same power as 222 cam on these heads. This is the cam that was in my car for the times in my sig.
ARE 222/.534/114 (287 adv. dur): Idled without programing. My first cam. Very good drivability once TB was drilled out. Very stable idle. Made same power as above cam with ARE S2 heads.
GTP Piglet 223/.591/112 (278 adv. dur?) Going to finish up the install this week and will let you know. Will be using a matched set of GTP heads purchased from Nick G.. Have high hopes for this one.

Hey George how was the GTP 226/226 .591/.591 112lsa. Like what kind of power were you making with that. And how was the loop. I am looking to throw something rediculous in mine until i finish my stroker so it only has to last till summer and wont get it till atleast december.

The GTP 226 cam had a very noticeable "lope" to it, but nothing I couldn't live with. I don't have any dyno numbers, and only made one real trip to the track with that cam, but ran low 10.8's @ 123+ before 2 connecting rods broke and trashed the car. By no means would I call the 226 GTP cam ridiculous, though.

TR 224 112 (JPR S1 Heads but blown cylinder)
XE-R 224/224 114 (ARE S2 Heads)
XE-R 232/236 114 110
For streetability I liked the TR 224 cam the best, it only needed an extra 50 rpms over my 218 cam for a smooth idle, yet torque and power seemed better everywhere.
My current cam feels more powerful, but I didn't improve over the 224 cam at the track. Idles fine at 1000 but occasionaly cam surges under 1400 rpm during coast down if the converter is locked.
