Can this set up happen Terry or Tom the Roofer help
It is basically the 396 ARE has. 3.905 bore without resleeving then engine. And then put the 4.125 crank in without clearance issues. Also does anyone have any thoughts or comments on me building this set up. Is it a decent idea. Terry has Tom the roofers old 396 doesnt he. Whats the specs and numbers on that set up. How is it holding up.

Terry's setup is a larger bore with small stroke (offset ground stock crank) Very different from what you are wanting to know about,That setup (large bore) Gets the benefit of reduced valve shrouding and very nice upper rpm power,With your setup you will make killer torque through the rpm band with not as much power upstairs.

Yeah i was just curious if the crank will fit with a 3.903 or 3.905 bore. I am hoping to make rediculous torque. <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" /> <--- Wheels up
