Default Katech heads

I recently visited katech engine development. Very cool place. They do 5 axis head porting, has anyone heard anything about their heads. They would appear to be very good.

Default Re: Katech heads

Katech does a lot of C5R stuff so you know they know what they are doing race wise.

However, there have been several sets of Katech heads that had 941 springs that broke. Katech was considering switching to 918's but didn't like the way 918's control the valve train at 6,400 rpm. This was all in a techincal bullient posted on their website about a month ago.

I've not see dyno numbers or track times for Katech heads and cam packages. Might want to do a search.

I think TEA heads are an excellent value and will make outstanding power all things considered, I'd give them a look too.

May others can add a few comments too...
