Default Is the X1 for me?

For reference the X1 is a 230/227 .591 .571 112. I will have stock heads except i will probably get them milled .030. This is my only car so yes it is my daily driver and my long trip ride too. Is this too much for my application. I have ls1edit and i would like a lope on idle.

Default Re: Is the X1 for me?

From what I have read, Jayson @ MTI does not recommend the X1 with stock heads. I would at least shoot for a Stage 1 port job. Otherwise, go with somethinig a little smaller and better paired with lower flowing heads. All the 220-224 TR cams work very well with stock heads. A TR224/112 will lope nicely...
