How to diagnose bent pushrod(s)?
What are the traditional symptoms of a bent pushrod, or two, with engine running? What to listen or look for w/out actually pulling valve covers? Is this possible? Thanks. WJ. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

From what I've read and learned, you will hear a LOUD clatter like someone banging a wrench against your engine . . . tick, tick, tick, . . .
It should increase in volume as the accelerator goes down.
You might have dirt in your lifters if there is a slight noise that is not uniform or consistent.
