Default Ls6 on a 5.3?

Hey guys i am new, so i need a lot of questions answered. i have a 2002 chevy silverado regular cab with the 5.3 and 4l60e. i have been told that i can put the ls6 heads and intake manifold and cam in my 5.3L but that i will have to use all the accesories off the ls6 as the manifold sits the throttle body too low for my stock belt drive setup. is this true? and if so is there anyway around it? also if you think there is a better cam, head, intake set up for my motor please tell me!! i am all ears. also i am thinking about changing the gears. it has the stock 3.42 of course.....its not a daily driver right now but if my little bro gets the other truck it might be soon. what do you think 3.73 or 4.10? thanks!!

For more info, head to performancetrucks.net. You can use same login info from here over there.

As for the swap.. yes, you can fit all those parts on your motor, but as for the accessories, not entirely true.. You can put an ls6 intake manifold on a truck but you have to modify a few parts(Ask this question over at PT.net). The cam will swap right over, as will the heads though!

Ls6 heads no weno on a 5.3 you lose compression due to the larger combustion chamber. On everything larger though they are the trick though.
