Default About to order ARP head studs, which one?

Should I get the 12 pt or the hex? What's the difference? And what kind of tool do you use for the 12 pt? Is that a torx? Thanks!

12 point uses a 12 point socket and it doesn`t really matter which one you use the 6 point may possibly strip out a little easier.

What if you used a 6-pt socket on the 6-pt head?

I'm a fan of 6 points everywhere, except maybe main studs.

A 6-point/6-point combo is the best way to go on them.

Why is there such a big differance in price between the two? Are 12 pt nuts that expensive?
