Default Scat forged rods

Search wouldnt work as usual.

Anyone here used Scat forged rods for LS1? How do they perform? I know they might not be a lunati but they've got to be better than stock right?

I'm putting forged pistons in my car and forged rods, its got a stock crank, and when together will have heads/cam/spray. Plan to make about 600 to the wheels on a 200-250 shot, would these rods hold up to my build? I'm not FI, just nitrous.

My second option was Eagle H beams but please I'd like to hear some feedback about Scats as I nor anyone I know has used them.

I have used them for the older SBC/BBC & SBF. They hold up to 750 HP @ 7500 rpms with the 8740 chomemoly ARP rod bolts. With the ARP2000 rod bolt up grade they will hold about 1100+ HP. That is some cheap insurance for about a $50 upgrade. I have not had any problem's with any of the sets that I have bought and sold.

Would go with a set of Eagle H beams 'on center', LS1 specific, they are 6.125" length and .927 pin, these features leave open opprotunity in piston selection over running stock dimension Scat rods.

Eagle rods come with the 8740 ARP rod bolts, have them in stock if you need them?

The Scat 6.125" rods have the .927' pin as well!

IIRC Scat makes a 6.125 rod for 350 sbc that also lists for LS1, offset?

Scat is a great choice if you are limited to 6.100" length rod, they are the only forged rod available of that kind.

Just make sure and do the bolt upgrade regardless of what you use..
