Does anybody have real info on the different factory cam power bands? As I have a bunch of "factory" cams I'd like to find out if one will make good power up to 6500, for occasional drag racing. My car is a 98 Vette, A4, and 3.42 gears, but I do not have headers or custom exhaust on it...and that is the way I want it to stay. What I'd like is dyno h/p readings of the cam and what it was in, ie: 98 F body, 01 F body, 98-99 Y body, 01 later Y body and so on. I do not want to deal with the 02 Z-O6 Vette cam as I don't have the correct length valve stems to use the stock length push rods, and don't want to add that expense to the change.
