Crane VS Comp.

If you get a cam and say the specs are the same intake/exhaust, lift,ext.. whats the differance from a Crane to a Comp cam?? Will it matter if i use a crane cam?

differences in lobe profiles, lift rates, duration figures, lobes lifts you name it. but my vote would be for crane.

if the specs are the same the lobe profiles can still be different ie.. ramp rate, lobe symmetry.
