Default About adjustable timing sets

All the sets I have seen close up are only adjustable in increments of +-2. Are there any adjustable timing sets with infinite adjustment? Or, +-1, +-.5 etc.?

My Cloyes set is adjustable to over 10 degrees advance or 10 degrees retard. The crank gear can go in -4, +4, or 0. You then have the cam gear that goes in increments of 2 degrees retard or advance. So with the crank gear at 4 advance and 2 advance on the cam you would have 6 degrees total.

The cloyes hex adjust is infinately adjustable as well as a new one by Crane (but it looks entirely overcomplicated and looks like it would add a ton to your rotating weight. Short of those they are all infinately adjustable after you spend some time on them with a grinder.

2 degree increments will get you within 1 degree. How accurate is your degreeing process?
