I know this is probably a lame rumour or bad information, but can someone give me a quick confirmation if the new '03 Z06 Pistons are forged or not??

I'm sure there would be a lot of interested people if they are cheap..

Seriously doubt it since new stricter emmissions were the cause of the Viper going to a hypereutectic piston in the year 2000. Apparently a forged piston expands and contracts enough to affect emmissions in a negative way on cold startup and the new stricter standards make it too hard to pass.
