Talking Location of PCV valve on the LS1 ?

I have a LS1 on my 2004 GTO. Although my local auto parts store was happy to sell me a fram PCV valve for my 5.7 I have searched and searched, and can not find the location of the PCV valve itself to replace it. (I'm doing this proactively - just figuring it has not been replaced for a while.) Anyway, on the passenger side there are is a hose that comes out of the throttle body, and leads down to the valve cover area, but I see no PCV valve at all.

I am starting to think that GM put no replaceable PCV valve on this car. Can someone confirm this?

Thanks,

- W

On my '01, there's a 3/8-inch ID vacuum hose that comes off of the passenger side of the intake manifold (just behind the throttle body) that connects to the PCV valve. The other side connects to another 3/8-inch vacuum hose that wraps around behind the intake and connects to a y fitting, which goes to both driver and passenger side valve covers.

I am going to post this for the benefit of other GTO owners that may search on this. I posted this over on LS1gto, and it appears that on my car they did away with the PCV valve. Follow this link for more details, and some pics.
