Re: What rev limiter on 422?
I'd put the rev limiter at 7000-7100, most 422-427ci motors don't make power up there anyway. Most of the superstrokers out there peak at 6200rpms, so 6400-6600 shift points have worked for most folks.

Yeah it's a th400. 422, 11:1 compression, ls6 heads, R1 cam, non lockup converter. However, it was dynoed with the 6 speed in the car.

When I was running the S1 cam in my 422 I shifted at 6800. The limit was set at 7100 (no need for it to have been any higher than 7000.)
With the R1 cam my shifts were made at 6400 so 6600 would have been a good rev limit.
