Default engine missfire and running flat after new cam....

I just installed my new cam and am getting a missfire code. What is the easiest way to determine if its false and how do you fix it? I am running 11.75:1 cr with a pretty big cam on 93 octane gas, is this gas sufficient or should I step up to higher octane?

What cylinder is the misfire showing up on when you connect a scanner? All of them or just one?

I dont have a scanner but I'll call a guy at work and see if I can get one tonight or tomorrow. I have heard that alot of these big cams with tight LSA's normally trigger false misfire's.

FWIW, after my cam install, I was throwing P0300 codes all day long. (random misfire). Common with cam swaps. If it turns out to be just one or two cylinders, then I would do some investigating. LS1 edit will clear the p0300 code forever.
