a thread about PTVC with what heads/cam/gasket and what you had for PTVC
would anyone contribute to this?
Iknow i would .I will be checking mine with the milled afr's this week.
I have looked and looked for answers but the only answer is !!!!
pay 389 for the cam and see if it works.
I just think it would be sweet to see the results.knowing that it may not be the same my set up but at least it would be a place to start.
and if someone was looking to put milled afr's on with the cam i have they would know what they were in for when they paid out over 3k not just buy it and check it .witch is where i am at.
just a idea i though would be a benefit for all.

I think you have a good idea, but it would just be another sticky for people to skip right over and post "Will XYZ cam fit with ABC heads?"
Factors that will affect/skew results:
Valve Diameter
Valve Angle (ETP...)
True Amount of Milling
Intake Lobe Centerline Angle (some check it, some go dot-dot and trust its right)
Measuring with clay vs. Dial Indicator
Compressed Gasket vs. Un-compressed
Stock or Aftermarket Pistons, size/shape of reliefs
Varying positive deck heights
Stock vs. Aftermarket Pushrods (less flex, length)
Hydraulic Lifter Preload vs Solid Checking lifter
Those factors and more mean it will always be safer to check, even on 100% stock long blocks with cams ground to be the largest fittiment.
