I'm dropping in a set of LS6 heads with the B1 cam. I originally purchased a set of 918's back in June, which now I found out are from the bad batch. So I'm returning them back to TR and I'm wondering if I should go with something else, maybe a dual? Any suggestions?
Thanks, Pete

I've had good luck with the 918's.Even the bad batch.I would stay with the 918's.I feel dual springs are overkill for the B1 Cam.Dual springs have more spring pressure that put unnecessary stress on the lifter/Cam chain when the lighter 918's control valve float till at least 6800rpm.

Thanks.
I think then I'll just stay with the 918's since I'll be staying with the B1 cam and dont plan on going with anything more aggressive. I also already have the titanium retainers for them as well.
