Default camshaft loping

is it possible for a cam to make a stock LS1 engine "lope"? and if so what kind?

Lope is caused by cam change, is that what you mean? Lope is caused by exhaust gases polluting intake charge at low rpms. The more duration each cam lobe has and the tighter the lobe seperation, the more noticeable the lope is.Sharp head porters can lessen this effect by changing radius and angles on valves and also port technique on exhaust port. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
