What is a realistic price for a stock cube shortblock? Problem is while the motor is out Id like to get rid of my 806 heads and hardware... I would assume it is a spun rod bearing as well... the car ran for like 2 seconds after I heard it so I dont think it got any further. BTW the oil pressure dropped then I heard the noise.

Buying a short block isn't a bad idea, Doug. That could save you alot of time and hassle. What about a 408 and the new 6.2 heads????
