97 Octane safe/effective for my use?
I'm going to the local track tomorrow and want to run this: http://www.permatex.com/products/aut...ng_Formula.htm
If I'm reading this correctly, It would take me from 91 octane to 97. Is this going to have any negative effects at all? This would of course be a one-time-use type of thing. Will it screw with my cars dyno tune?

GM High Tech did an article on this a year or two ago, they did see a benefit by increasing the timing without knock retard so I must work. I'm not sure you'll see a difference if you aren't currently experiencing knock. But yes its safe to run.
