I just recieved my TR 227/224 144 cam and 918 springs. I was wondering if it would be best to get a set of Ti retainers or are they not neccessary? Also what is a good timing chain? Jwis, Rollermaster, SLP?? I'm thinking about swapping oil pumps too! Katech ported or ARE ported and shimmed or remain with my stock 98 with 70,000 miles? I would like some recommendations on what you think would be needed.
