Default FAstest ET with cam and heads and convertor

I will be running a 4400 stall and will be using a 150 wet NX kit, what cam would be best with out having to do anyhead work and without having to fly cut the pistons. In a 98 formula.

There is no best cam, but in your situation you cant go wrong with an LG Motorsports G5 or similar. If you plan on spraying a lot that may or maynot be too much converter though. If you dont get custom tuning, the G5 will be too big IMO. Do you have to pass emissions?

4,400 Stall Converter!

On a daily driver? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Any problems in normal everyday traffic?

You should get a smaller converter with nitrous. 4400 is way too big.

"Best" cam depends alot on what kind of RPMs you're willing to turn and what kind of idle is acceptable.

As others said, that's too much converter for nitrous use. You'll be leaving at least a couple of tenths on the table. It should be a great NA converter but a terrible nitrous converter (I know, I once ran a 125 shot with a 4600 converter.)

You should consider a more nitrous friendly convertor. The tp4400 is not a good nitrous convertor at all. But it is an awesome N/A convertor. The new yank SS3600 or SS3800 should work well on the gas and on the motor.

I think any popular cam will do you right on the nitrous. I would suggest you go with a tighter lobe separation though. Something like The Futral Motorsports cam I run would work well: 226/226 575 575 114.
