Most of the sponser's stage II heads flow ABOUT the same, and make ABOUT the same power everything else being equal. A few popular standouts would be MTI, GTP, and TEA just to name a few. If cost is not an issue GTP heads have proven themselves time and time again, but so has MTI and many others. If cost is an issue I'd go with TEA stage II 5.3L heads as I did. Absolute speed also offers a fair priced head.
Talk with one of the sponsers about your goals and they can recommend a package for you. As far as cams go, I know Thunder has a great cam package on sale right now, add a set of TEA or absolute speed heads to that and you have a combo that costs less than some paid for just heads. Again, talk to one of the sponsers and they will help you make a good cam selection depending on your goals.
