Default Which headgasket to use??

Ok im piecing together my forged 346 and am kinda confused as to which headgasket to use. The setup is
TSP Stage 2.5 5.3 Heads and I believe they will be 62cc
Comp 235/240 600 609 111+2
Diamond Pistons
Callies or Eagle Rods.

Im just kind of confused as to which headgasket to use. Could I use the stock headgasket or I was recommended to use the .040 headgasket. Which bore headgasket do I need to use because theres like 2 or 3 different bores and was just needing to know which one I needed to use. 3.910 or 4.030 or 4.000? Any help is appreciated. thanks

The smallest one. You should have enough valve relief in those pistons to get away with the .040 gasket so that is the one you should run. Cometic makes this gasket in 3.905 bore I believe, but since you are most likely honed .005 you should stick with the 3.910 bore as long as someone did not get crazy with the chamfer at the top of the bore. You just want to make sure the gasket does not hang into the bore.

When contacting TSP about my head gaskets I was told for my 4.030 bore to go with a 4.030 gasket bore. As for manufacturer, I wouldent go with stock stuff for a built up motor. Think of the high performance gasket as cheap insurance.. 150$ for a set of re-usable cometics isnt bad in the long run. 150$ is worth not having to replace a head gasket prematurely.
