Shakes???

Question Shakes???

Hey Hows it going i have a 99 z28 ls1 with a weidland aluminum intake manifold and slp exhaust its 6spd and has 80k on it. i have a question. when im in neutral or its just sitting idling it idles some what rough. it will shake for a seconds then stop for a few then shake some more and then stop. i was just wondering i anyone has any ideas of what it could be? thanks?

sounds normal as long as it isnt violent or affecting rpm. Every motor i have seen has little tremors at idle.

Yeah thanks i was thinkin about getting it tuned to try and stop it from shaking so much and i know they all shake some but ..... yeah thanks

Try some poly motor mounts. You dont need a tune with those mods, dont even waste your $$ on a tune. A tune will not solve shaking, thats funny that someone even mentioned that.

Spray a little carb cleaner in your EGR and idle air control valve. Might be sticking cause of some carbon build up. I just had that issue because of a small peice of carbon stuck under the pintle valve in the EGR which was holding it open and causing a rough idle. It did throw a code though.
