Default radiused inlet flowing heads....

Why do they use a radiused inlet when the flow the intake side of the cylinder head? Would it make sense to use a radiused inlet on the MAS air meter to increase air flow also?

phillip, the radiused inlet on the intake port is to allow the air to run run evenly through the port, with out the radius inlet the air will hit the sharp edge of the port and deflect into the middle and turbulate
