500-600 hp...... Is there a LS1 or LS6 based crate engine or engien package out there that can put out between 500-600 hp? I am looking towards a crate engine utilizing the C5-R block. But most importantly, I want the engine that is proven to be very reliable, I intend on driving this vehicle between 12,000 and 15,00o miles a year in traffic and on long trips. I do not wish to forced induction or nitrous. thanks for all the help.

Re: 500-600 hp...... The only true crate engines are the LS1 and LS6 but im sure if you call ARE or MTI (sponsors ------->) They can build you the motor you are asking for. But you just have to remember its going to cost an arm and a leg and the C5R is just rediculous in price. But there are a bunch of sponsors that can probably build you a 500 HP daily driver if you got the cash.
