Seriously, TEA heads, IMO, can't be beat for the $$$. Looks like some quality heads are becoming available at signifigantly less than the "big three", and thats always a good thing. After one conversation with Brian at TEA (about a half hour long conversation at that ), I decided that I would go w/ TEA. No dyno #s or track times yet, still waiting on a clutch and a 12 bolt. (C'mon Santa )

Brian is a stand up guy, I spoke on the phone with him for about 45 minutes the day I ordered them and he really seems to know his stuff. I've also got several emails that I had sent him asking info about his heads and machining process.
One of the BIG things that I liked about TEAs heads is that they are CNC ported. So there's no worry that the porter will have a bad day or make a mistake. Computers do what they're told so the set of heads I have will most likely be very similar to a set sold 5 months ago and a set sold today (provided there haven't been changes to the CNC program).
For the price, you get bigger valves, titanium retainers, and comp double springs... plus all the machine work. Good price, Good quality, good bang for the buck.

Compare that with the $2400-$2700 for some of the other "Big Name" heads.
Save your money and go with T.E.A. You won't be dissappointed.

I think the TEA's are a good value.
Dual springs, Ferra valves, CNC'd, 400+rwhp
What's not to like?

I think that for the money, you can't beat the value you get. I live in Louisville, and when I ordered my 5.3L heads from Brian, I actually drove down there on two different occasions to meet with Brian and see his shop and look at how they do their work.
All I can say is that Brian and his crew are top-notch. I am really impressed by the heads, and I would re-purchase them in a heartbeat. I don't think you can go wrong with TEA.
