Well, I am going with Armstrong's dry sump pan and I just read a couple posts about guys swapping out their oil pumps. I didn't realize it was integral in the bottom front cover of the engine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> .
Is there a way to remove the impeller from the pump so I can just run the pressure section of the dry sump pump for pressurized oil? I just can't think it would be good to have the oil pump running without any oil going through it. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
