Default cam?

i would like to have the tr 224/224 comp cam but i don't know how my bottom end will handle it. i really like the the hot cam. i really want to keep the car an everday drive. so any help would be aprecated.

i have the 222/222 hammer cam.the tr224 cam and mine are real close. your bottom end will be FINE.when you change the cam,add a better timing chain too.your car will still be a great daily driver,the cam will still idle nice and if you have headers you will gain about 40hp.(tunning would make it better)i have heads,cam 12bolt and all the boltons,my car is a great 11 sec daily driver. i dont know anything about the hot cam, sorry goodluck to ya. mike c.

I have had my C1 cam in for 6 months without tuning and have not had one problem in the 20,000 miles me and my wife have put on it. If thats not a daily driver, I don't know what is. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
