What would the gains be going from a set of stock 806 heads to stock 243 heads?

ls6 heads offer like a 25rwhp gain over ls1 heads i think

For the most part....yes same thing is going to happen. IT is not like it is a different science.

They will probably be neck and neck. There isn't going to be a big difference just because one is a ported LS6 and the other is a ported LS1. Chances are, one is going to be ported (if done correctly) almost identically with the same results in mind, as the other. I just moved a thread over here explaining a little bit about it.
