The cam in my sig....how well do you think it will work with this set of heads?

What can i expect powerwise and performance wise?


will the compression ratio change effect how my car sounds and how quickly it revs up and down when throwing revs? (You know, the crispness of a high compression 383 or 408 when throwing revs)

i dont have an answer for yr head question. i dont have much experience with 5.3's. i have almost the same cam as u with afrs- hows the driveability with yr cam. any bucking/surging??

 

cam is good to me, no bucking or surging unless really low in RPM's like 1500 or less in gear.

 

You would prob see anywhere from 30-40Whp with those heads

 

im noly making about 380 right now....so with my cam and those heads, i can expect only 420 or so hp??? maybe im making the wrong decision here.....

Yep you will be about 420-430 RWHP with a GOOD tune, might see a tad more in SOME cases, they are worth the $$ IMO
