Just curious if any of you are running stage 3 ls6 heads from ARE. I'd like to hear dyno #'s or track times or even flow #'s.

Don't have track times but the dyno numbers speak for themselves. The engine is quite new (1200 miles or so) and we're still sorting it out. But this should give you some idea.
Hope this helps.

Got a question. I have an ARE 436 with a 242/242 .610/.610 114 lsa cam. What is your cam size and compression? My car was dynoed for the forst time 2 weeks ago with the factory fuel pump and it pulled 480 RWHP just before hitting 5000 RPM when the fuel pressure dropped 3 psi, then as soon as it passed 5000 RPMs it quickly lost 10psi and the run was aborted.
My car will be re-dynoed tomorrow.
I also am wondering what your cam is because I'm curious to know how my idle quality will be.
Thanks

Thanks

Cam is about the same: slightly higher lift. Wade told us the CR was 11.5, which actually may be a little high for ordinary use. We've had to be very careful about timing, and fuel quality.
As far as I know, we've not had any problem with fuel pressures. Now that you mention it, however, I think I'll check it with a dyno run.
The idle is hard to get right; we needed to drill a 13/64s hole in the TB, and play with the follower settings via LS1 to get it reasonably stable (also raised it to 1050rpm). Actually, idle isn't the issue: the problem is that letting off on the throttle allows the butterfly to close, the rpm's drop rapidly to below idle, and the engine dies. We've eliminated that per the above, but are left with a little bit of a "hang" when the engine is coming down. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get that out or not.
Mike Norris is great, and should be able to help you with all this. I'm actually thinking of getting the car to Toronto next Spring to fine tune my setup. If I can't get it there, I may drive to Orlando.
Give Mike my regards.
Best of luck.

I'm on the other side of the state Mikey...hour north of Pittsburg. Wish I was closer but I may make the trip out in the spring for some tuning or maybe even have you make the trip over if there is enough interest.

Good luck with your car. I'll post the results on this Z06 when finished.
