Default TR 224/114 question...

How does this cam sound?
Does the 114 LSA kill the sound much?
I lean towards this cam, but I like a good sound too... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I know several of you have probably used this cam. Let me know about it or recommend something else.
Thanks
Dave

BTW: Stock heads for now. LTs/ORPs by the time the cam goes in.

Seems like you are most interested in sound. Although sound may be important to you, a cams performance [should] be your first consideration.

Below is a bunch of threads that deal with the TR224 sound:

All ya got to do is use the Search fuction. There are over 300 TR224 threads in there. Most of the threads are the same questions answered over and over again.

Yeah, I did the same search and came up with the same threads...
I have sifted through them and haven't found quite what I am looking for.
If you feel this question has been asked too many times, I am sorry, you didn't have to open the thread and read it. The subject line was clear.
Thanks anyway
Dave

It sounds fairly close to stock. I have that cam, but also have SLP LTs and cats with the dual/dual exhaust. You will notice it more with a better exhaust though. BTW, if you want a tad more power and better sound, go with a 112 lsa.
