Help guide me through installing new lifter please
To make a long story short, I broke and bent two of my pushrods in my stock LS1. After replacing them, I fired it up and all seemed to be normal except for some significant power loss. I did a compression test and discovered that all cylinders had 150psi -- perfect. That lead me to believe only two things could have happened: collapsed lifter or chipped cam.
I have never changed a lifter or cam before. I have a TR224 sitting next to me and I will be putting it in at the same time I inspect/change the lifters.
My question is: What do I have to do to inspect the lifters, and how will I know if one is bad? Where to get replacement ones, and how much (approx)? What parts will I need to do this (gaskets, head bolts, etc)?
Thanks a lot for your help guys, and I hope I can get this worked one once and for all!

Re: Help guide me through installing new lifter please
Okay did the drivers side, not a single bent one!
So on with the original question, can someone please guide me through installing a lifter? Is there a way to check if one is bad?
