Default silverado heads

I was thinking of shrinking the combustion chambers a bit for more power.
How much are 4.8 liter heads and how small are the chambers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Aren’t the 4.8 and the 5.3 heads the same? just the 4.8 has a shorter stroke? I think I’m right... but people do use 5.3 heads on there cars or just deck the LS6 or the stock heads to achieve the correct compression that is needed for thier car

4.8/5.3 are the same heads.

I get all of my 5.7l, 4.8/5.3l and 6.0l heads from Shaun Carter (SMC Performance). You can email him at valvegod@aol.com
