In a simplified form, yes. That is the most important part to determine this aspect.

I did miss your post about the heads. Yes it is going on with the current 5.3l heads. I talked to texas-speed for a while about whhat cam to go with to improve upon my current 231/237. They said it will be fine with the current heads and i think they flow right around 295cfm above .600. The ms4 makes killer power on stock unported heads so i think i will be fine with the 5.3's. Im gonna spend 1500 on nitrous before i even think about different heads. Im happy with the heads since i spent right around $1000 for them assembled and made 411rwhp on a mustang dyno, which should give me 30rwhp less compared to a dyno jet.

I did chose to put the cam on a 110+4 for the better low-end and midrange power torque. The current 231/237 doesnt feel very strong down low and i wanted a cam that would sound meander, idler nastier and still have more peak power. The 231/237 also has some softer xe lobes so hopefully those lsk xer lobes will help out on some low-end midrange power.

just cant wait until it gets here!

so would the MS4 work well with my 02' T/A with stock untouched 241 heads and LS6 intake and stock TB, but 13/4 long tubes and a Yank 4000 stall?
