Default Power increase

How much power could I expect from swapping from 241 heads to 243 with stock sized sodium filled valves. Car is a full bolt on with MS3 and nitrous.

Since you're doing the work, I would spend another $600 and get them ported.

But you're looking at 10>15rwhp direct swap.

Call up Patriot Performance, you could probably get them ported and milled for about the price listed above. ~15hp isn't worth a headswap. I sent my 243's to them and everything turned out great.

I agree. The gains wouldn't be very much. Add in the time, new bolts and gaskets and it's not a very good doller to hp ratio.

I forget the exact price...it might be a little bit more. But it's well worth it.

I sent them an email.. thanks guys.. Do you think with the full CNC port and slightly milled I could get in the 440RWHP range, or would I be better off spending the extra money and get the PRC 5.3 2.5s?

I think 440 is a realistic goal. I'm about 430 on a dynojet with a TR224. You might wanna try calling Gunnar at PP.
