oil question
oil question i typically use castrol syntec german oil 0w30 for my car. i had bought 6 quarts a while back for the next oil change and wound up using one of those quarts because my car used a little in between changes.
so now i have only 5 quarts of the 0w30 and autozone in dallas no longer sells that oil. so what do i do? switch to a new oil entirely, or can i put the 5 quarts of german syntec 0w30 in and an extra quart of 10w30 american castrol syntec? i know it's horribly unorthodox, but i certainly don't want the oil to go to waste if it doesn't have to.
