Compression Test Numbers Hey,
Im considering buying a 2001 ZO6 with 19,000 miles. Its a super clean car and seems to run good, I wanted to take a compression test on it to confirm that its sealed up good and not worn out, hurt, or any other problems.
What numbers should I be looking for. With the motor warm, throttle wide open, not oiling down the cylinders.
Any help would be good for a baseline test. I just want to confirm that its where its supposed to be, Thanks

I think there is a formula out there you can plug numbers in to get a baseline compression number for any application. I will link it if I can find it.
I think the altitude you are at affects your readings also.
