Default pressed versus full floating pistons

I know pressed pin pistons are popular with high performance engines, but what are the advantages of using a pressed piston pin over full floating?

Default

Floating pins are more common in high performance applications as these engines are torn down and rebuilt much more frequently than an OEM setup. So, it is much easier to seperate the piston and rod. With a pressed pin setup, the piston is sometimes damaged upon removal as well. About the only advantage of a pressed pin setup is there little to no small end rod wear upon teardown, but this is hardly worth even mentioning.
