Default 22 ft lbs

The stock rockers get torqued to 22 ft lbs if I remember correctly.

Use a pushrod checker to check for the correct length if you have questions.

Are your heads milled, if not a 7.4 pushrod is probally correct. Gasket thinkness counts in the formula also.

Alot of LS1/6's sound like sewing machines with aftermarket cams. Mine was scary when I first started it but I got used to it.

I have stock heads and a cam with full bolt ons and long tubes and off road y pipe. But it sounds like a shushing sound. Like a exchuast leak, I dont think that the rockers are gaped right.
