im really wanting to put some spray with my cam even though its has 112 lsa. I talked to a mechanic and he said if your gona run an ls1 with spray the cam has to be 114???
I've always been told you want smaller lsa (more overlap) for N/A engines. Too much overlap on boosted applications is just a waste of spray, boost, what have you.
It is not just LSA, it is the complete cam specs that will determine if cam is more juice friendly.
For smaller shots (up to 150 rwhp), just choose your cam for your NA needs and spray.
