Default LS1-LS6 package

Hello. I am new here. I am curretly deployed to the desert in the military and have way too much time to surf the internet! I have been trying to read as much as I can, but I am still lost. I have a 2000 Z/28 with the LS6 intake, LT's, exhaust, gears etc. I need more power! Any feedback about the LS6 heads and cam swap from summit? Is Patriot Performance ok? I'm debating whether to get the assembled LS-6 heads, LS-6 cam/ASA cam. I have also been looking @ MTI. What's a good daily driver, cost effective head+ cam combo? Thanks a lot!! Any input is much appreciated.

The LS6 kit is over priced and way under powered. You can get a nice < 224 cam and some decent heads for the same price or less. This will put you well over 400 RWHP as opposed to 400 crank HP like the LS6.

I dont know how much the price is for that, but I picked up the PRC LS6 stage 1.5 heads, fully assembled with new valves, seats, seals, retainers and springs with new pushrods, ported oilpump and MS4 cam for just a bit over 2000 bucks. That was also with all the bolts and seals needed to do the job. Oh and some 4.10 gears with full install kit. I picked up 107 RWHP from that swap. I got it from TSP. They are great.
