Either one works well. However,in my opinion, the Torrington is overkill.

FYI, the Torrington bearing model is machined for an axial thrust bearing(Torrington).

Why overkill? Its only $20 more. Better to have too much than not enough.. right?! <img src="https://ls1tech.com/threads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hey,
Carl I just installed the torington bearing version on my solid rller. Very nice piece. Honestly, either way you go won't be wrong. I just like the idea of having the torington.

Thanks Ryan... I was going to get it anyways. I just didnt know if there were any problems with them or that you could put one on a LS1/6 with out modification to the block.
