Not alot of talk of A4 cam only setups??? I'd like to see opinions or setups of cam only AUTO's...
U dont see as many as the 6p setups guys...
Here would be the basics
Pacesetters,ory,lid,pulley,ptb,dual/dual,pliugs,LS6 intake,918's,ti retainers..
Vig 3600,trans go,3.73's
most susp mods
17in Dr's
Now what I'd like to see is a cam that makes good hp/tq to 6300 w/a shift point of 6500....the other requirement would be a lopey idle but not to the point where u cant drive the car,just something that sounds tuff threw the exhaust......
Goal would be 3700lb 11.70 sec setup....

vig3800 with a 4.10 dana 60 and a big cam(236/242 6xx 61x gets me 7-6's to high 7.4's at around 93-94 and on a 50 shot i went 7.1 at 96 with a 1.5 60' now im spraynig a 125 and i cant hook and i spin half track and run the same times with a crappier 60' and a higher mph somthing around 7.0-7.3 with a hardcore spining 1.6' 60' and at around 101 mph. i shift at 6850 and i make 500 on the spray and close to 400 on the motor ive only been to the track once with the new set up and i was on old bald crappy bfg drag's not im on mikeys i hope to get out and get some real results im hoping for a 1.3x 60'-1.4 60'.
You really dont need to make big power with an auto. If you can get a good trans/converter cam and some suspension and tire it will run its *** off. A local guy here on the board his name is skinnies on here made 360ish and went 11.3x's wheels up with 17's on the front
