Ok guys seems like my problem just gets worse I have a 98 ta that i bought off of here and it ran fine for about 1-2 wks then all of a sudden the car starts to surge while driving and the idle keeps bouncing around so i cleaned the iac valve like they said thinking it might be dirty get it all cleaned and go to fire the car up and nothing rotates but doesnt start. So i try later and after like 30sec of holding my foot on the gas and the key going she finally cranks up. drive it home turn the car off try to start it again and im back to were i started. Could it be a starter or just a bad fuel filter the pumps working and im getting spark out of the plugs.

 

Does the car have any mods? If so was it ever tuned?

 

What fuel pressure are you getting when you turn the key to RUN, without cranking the engine?

 

the only mods on the car is the lid kn filter and long tube headers with a flowmaster exhaust egr delete. car was tuned after the mods which was before i purchased the car from fasterthanyou its his old ta

 

havent checked the fuel pressure i dont have a gauge yet. is there a site to were to hook the gauge up to with pics or something cause im new to the ls1 game im more carbed

 

There's a schraeder valve on the front of the driver side fuel rail.
