427 redline
427 redline so i've read that high displacement motors will destabilize at higher rpms relative to smaller motors (427 vs 346). i'm guessing LS7s are unique because they use all kind of aluminum/titanium rotating parts to cut down on mass and redline @/around 7000rpm. i know your final upper rev limit is determined by a lot of factors, but is there any rule of thumb as to how low your redline will be if for a larger displacement engine?
engine specs: lunati 427 rotating assembly w/ darton 4.125" sleeves, AFR heads w/ associated valves, retainers and springs (may vary depending on my cam selection)
if you guys need more info to take an educated guess, i'll be happy to provide specifics
or if there really is no way to tell, then i've just flaunted my ignorance...wouldn't be the first time
