A friend of mine has a 408 iron block out of a chevy truck for sale for $350.00. Would i be better off build this motor myself or opt to buy a motor that is already built? Also is that a good price? Last question..Will that block have the necessary holes drilled to fit the power steering res, etc?

Did he bore and stroke this motor already or is this just a 6.0 block that could potentially become a 408? Because if it is already a 408 that would be a hell of a deal.
